2022 UBIS Postgraduate Colloquium on Inter-Disciplinary, Social Sciences, Business and Economics.
“Thriving in Turbulent Times: Breakthrough Innovation & Creativity, and Disruptive Changes”.

Saturday and Sunday, 26 & 27 November 2022, City Campus Mall
Organized by Postgraduate Section, the colloquium aims to provide a platform for our postgraduate students to share and generate forum on the current local and global issues, address solutions to the problems and to provide opportunity for participants to exchange and share knowledge and information, establish business or research relationships and find global partners for future collaboration.
Furthermore, UniKL’s Postgraduate Rules and Regulations (PGRR) requires postgraduate students by research to present their paper in local or foreign conferences.

Hence, this colloquium is COMPULSORY to all Research Project, Master in Management, and PhD students.
All students are required to submit original and unpublished works for publication and presentation at the conference. All submissions are subjected to peer review.

The full manuscript must be submitted as an MS Word file in DOC (PDF format is not accepted). Please submit your full paper before the submission deadline and all manuscripts must be thoroughly checked for errors and formatted according to the Full Paper template that can be downloaded from this email. Manuscripts that are not properly prepared will be returned to the authors for revision and resubmission.

PHYSICAL FACE-TO-FACE COLLOQUIUM
Malaysia has entered the “Transition to Endemic” phase of Covid-19 starting April 1, 2022. The government has also announced the full reopening of its international borders and Malaysia is ready to welcome all international travelers beginning April 1, 2022. We look forward to hosting you in this colloquium.

However, if the movement control order (MCO) is reinstated by the government due to new surge of Covid-19 or any other reasons, we will withdraw the physical face-to-face conference and all participants who have registered as Presenter – (Face-to-Face) or Listener – (Face-to-Face) may change the participation category to Virtual Conference or Video Presentation.

CORPORATE LUNCHEON
There will be corporate luncheon on the first and second day of the colloquium. The corporate luncheon will be attended by guest speaker from the corporate sector.

BEST PAPER AWARD
Postgraduate section will confer Certificate for Best Paper Award to qualified paper(s) as recommended by the Review Committee. The handover of the Best Paper Certificate will be made during the corporate luncheon on the second day of the colloquium (27th November 2022).
Selection of best paper will be based on the followings:
1. originality of the research,
2. contribution to body of knowledge,
3. total no of words for abstract not exceeding 300 words,
4. total number of pages of full paper (6-12 pages long),
5. fonts, spacing, paragraphing as per the full paper template provided in the email to you; and
6. Submission

PUBLICATION
All accepted papers will be published in conference proceeding book (with ISBN) within one (1) month and three (3) months respectively from the conference date. The review committee will also select papers that have the potential for publication in Scopus indexed journals. The list of the Scopus indexed journals will be communicated to the authors of the selected papers accordingly. Additional fees will apply for papers published in Scopus indexed journals.
