Dr. Rozainun is a Professor of Accounting in UniKL Business School, and has been in the education line for almost 40 years in Malaysia with various appointments in public and private universities. She received the most illustrious royalty award by the Sultan of Kelantan, PMK (Paduka Mahkota Kelantan) on 10 November 2015. She is the Elected President for the Asean Accounting Education Workgroup (AAEW). She is the Elected Honorary President for the Alumni Club of  University of Wales, Aberystwyth in Malaysia. She is a Visiting Professor of UCSI, Kuching, Sarawak. She is also a founding member of Malaysian Association of Public Advocacy for Nature. (MAPAN)

As a passionate advocate for education and talent development, Dr. Rozainun continues to create impact on people through her teaching, research, and industry engagements. She actively participates as a guest speaker, forum panellist, and conference presenter, sharing her expertise in national and international forums. Dr. Rozainun’s commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practice is evident in her role as a registered HRDF Trainer, where she imparts valuable insights in accounting, corporate governance, risk management, and forensic accounting. She receives Talentcorp Fellowship TF50 in December 2024. In her capacity as the President of the ASEAN Accounting Education Workgroup (AAEW), Dr. Rozainun fosters collaboration among universities across ASEAN, driving research and curriculum development initiatives. Her dedication to nurturing future leaders is further demonstrated through her involvement as the Chairman for the ASEAN Future Sustainable Leaders (AFSL) competition. Dr. Rozainun’s illustrious career exemplifies her unwavering dedication to excellence, innovation, and nation-building. Her visionary leadership and impactful contributions continue to inspire generations towards shaping the future of accounting, creating impact to national agenda.

BRIEF ABOUT YOURSELF

Nik Khadijah Nik Abdul Rahman joined UniKL Business School on 13 January 2012 as a Senior Lecturer. She was the Head of Accounting Section from 16th January 2017 – 31 December 2018 and Head of Section, Foundation in Business & Transfer Degree Programme (MARA Programme) from 16 June 2013 – 15 December 2016.

She has a broad spectrum of experience as practitioner in the industry in areas of finance, accounting, management and administration for 20 years. She started her career in academia as a part-time lecturer at Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur City Campus in 2009 – 2012 where she conducted Management Accounting for Managers, Financial Reporting and Statement Analysis and Advanced Management Accounting courses for Master programmes. Prior to joining UniKL, Nik Khadijah was a Senior Lecturer of Business School at City University College of Science and Technology where she taught Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Business Management for Diploma, Bachelor and Master programmes. She is a Chartered Accountant (member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants), Certified Financial Planner and Islamic Financial Planner (member of Financial Planning Association of Malaysia) and PSMB Certified Trainer.

BRIEF ABOUT YOURSELF 

Dayang Maziela binti Zulkipli is currently a lecturer in the Accounting Section at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Business School (UniKL Business School), specialising in Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Auditing. She is strongly committed to providing practical, industry-oriented education that meets professional standards. In her academic capacity, she is actively engaged in teaching, curriculum implementation, assessment development, and supporting students’ academic growth, ensuring that learning outcomes remain aligned with current regulatory and professional requirements.

In her academic role, she is actively involved in teaching and facilitating learning, designing and delivering curriculum content, preparing assessments, and contributing to students’ academic and personal development. She ensures that instructional approaches and learning outcomes remain aligned with current regulatory frameworks, professional standards, and the evolving demands of the accounting and auditing profession.

Drawing on her extensive industry experience, Dayang Maziela brings a practice-oriented approach to higher education, bridging the gap between accounting theory and real-world application. She is deeply committed to student development and actively contributes to academic initiatives, curriculum enhancement, and research activities within the university.

Beyond her teaching responsibilities, she plays an important role in academic administration and programmerelated duties, including examination preparation, assessment moderation, and quality assurance processes. She is also actively involved in academic writing and research, with particular interests in auditing, corporate governance, and performance of financial reporting.
